The Hailuoto Organum is a public acoustic sculpture located on the remote island of Hailuoto, at Ulkokarvo bay, geographically near the city of Oulu.

It was built 2014 by sculptor Lukas Kühne with the 'Hai Art' arts organisation.

'scores for visitors' - how to commit to, walk and "play" the Organum.

'scores for visitors' will be presented at a multi-day festival series of events in September 2026. More info can be found in the calendar of Oulu2026.

The project is facilitated by local sound artist Antye Greie-Ripatti in collaboration with local partners, artists and visitors and co-produced by Culture Capital Oulu 2026
